The Selfies@School Project, sponsored by The Meemic Foundation, invites Meemic Foundation Club Members to showcase the artistic talent of students while rewarding their classrooms. Members can sponsor a student’s original artwork to be part of the project, with up to 30 student winners selected. The winning creations will be featured on the Meemic website and in an online art gallery event scheduled for 2nd Quarter 2025. Each winner will receive a Boogie Board Blackboard Smart Reusable Notebook Writing Tablet, and the sponsoring Foundation Club Members of winning entries will earn up to $500 for their school. In Mrs. Elemont’s class, students were tasked with creating a picture of themselves in a school setting—whether in the classroom, lunchroom, at recess, studying, or even performing athletics or playing a musical instrument. The selfies could be life-like or even caricatures. Congratulations to Makaylyn Massengill for winning the MEEMIC MASTERPIECES CREATIVITY CONTEST! A Meemic representative presented Makaylyn with her prize, and congratulations to Mrs. Elemont for winning a $500 award for the STEM Department!
The Seitz Parents' Club kicked off the new year with a "glowing" celebration for our 6th-8th graders! After returning from winter break, the students gathered for a night filled with dancing, games and a ton of fun.
A huge thank you to all the parents and volunteers who helped make the event a success! We can't wait for more fun events like this in the future!!
